Terms of Reference:
- Provide ways and means and mechanisms to: a) Explore new food resources from the seas and b) Expand existing food resources from water bodies.
- Suggest mechanisms for developing products and processes for enhanced aqua-food use in the country.
- Suggest ways of creating awareness on aqua-foods as health foods.
- Suggest measures for furthering innovative research in this area.
- Provide an institutional framework for a consortium consisting of academia and industry to take this area forward.
- Examine any other issues that may be relevant in this context.
